Outdoor Learning

6th Mar 2026
We are having a very busy month, learning lots of new play skills during Outside play! Climbing, jumping, balancing, and hopping are all skills we need to practise and develop for our growth and development. We have also been very busy carrying (squishy foam) bricks to build, making dens for dinosaurs, planting real and not so real flowers, practising our early writing, drawing and mark-making skills, listening to stories, and developing our language skills and social/ emotional development through imaginative play. This frosty week, we have also been filling up the bird feeders with seeds and even made, “cookies” for the hungry birds, too!
Some children also walked up to the Primary School to see our old friends Damien and Jackie, and learned how to care for their two beautiful donkeys!
