We were so lucky to have a very special visit from James’s Mum, Donna, who drives a bus for Translink! We climbed onto the big bus, found a seat, and put on our seatbelts! Donna then tooted the horn and we sang “The Wheels on the Bus” as loudly as we could! We were then allowed to sit in the drivers’ seat and pretend we were driving; it was such fun!
Donna then showed us the back of the bus and explained how important it was to keep well away when the reverse lights and beeps were on. She also showed us the emergency door too.
